Bu qolip ikki narsa birga oʻzgarishini koʻrsatadi: biri oshsa, ikkinchisi ham oshadi (yoki kamayadi). The more you practise, the better you get — qancha koʻp mashq qilsang, shuncha yaxshi boʻlasan.
Tuzilishi: the + qiyosiy daraja + ega + feʼl, the + qiyosiy daraja + ega + feʼl. Qiyosiy daraja sifat (the bigger), ravish (the faster) yoki more / less / fewer + ot (the more money) boʻlishi mumkin. Ikki qism vergul bilan ajratiladi.
Qisqa iboralar ham bor: The sooner, the better (qancha tez boʻlsa, shuncha yaxshi), The more, the merrier (qancha koʻp odam boʻlsa, shuncha qiziq).

Oʻzbek tili bilan farqi
Oʻzbek tilida buni «qanchalik…, shunchalik…» yoki «-gan sari» bilan aytamiz: «Qancha koʻp mashq qilsang, shuncha yaxshi oʻrganasan», «Katta boʻlgan sari…». Ingliz tilida ikkala qism boshida the turadi, undan keyin darhol qiyosiy daraja keladi. Bu the oddiy artikl emas va uni tushirib boʻlmaydi. Oʻzbekchada feʼl oxirida kelgani uchun oʻquvchilar ikkinchi qismda tartibni buzishadi: «the more you practise, you get better» emas, the better you get.

- Agar maʼno aniq boʻlsa, be feʼli tushib qolishi mumkin: The bigger the city, the higher the prices.

Чтобы сказать, что когда меняется одно, вместе с ним меняется и другое.
Эта конструкция показывает, что две вещи меняются вместе: одно растёт — и другое растёт (или уменьшается). The more you practise, the better you get — чем больше тренируешься, тем лучше получается.
Строение: the + сравнительная степень + подлежащее + глагол, the + сравнительная степень + подлежащее + глагол. Сравнительная степень может быть прилагательным (the bigger), наречием (the faster) или more / less / fewer + существительное (the more money). Части разделяются запятой.
Есть и короткие выражения: The sooner, the better (чем скорее, тем лучше), The more, the merrier (чем больше народу, тем веселее).
Близкая тема — постепенное изменение: сравнительная степень + and + сравнительная степень: It's getting colder and colder. English is becoming more and more popular.
Сравнение с русским и узбекским
Это почти точная копия русского «чем…, тем…»: «Чем больше тренируешься, тем лучше получается». Главное отличие — в английском обе части начинаются с одного и того же the, а не с двух разных слов, и пропускать его нельзя: не «More you practise, better you get». Ещё одна ошибка идёт от свободного русского порядка слов: «чем больше у тебя денег» превращают в The more you have money, хотя существительное должно стоять сразу после the more: The more money you have.
