Subjunktiv (istak mayli)

Rasmiy taklif, talab va muhimlikni bildirish uchun: suggest / insist / it is essential that + feʼl. C1

Subjunktiv — kimdir biror ish qilinishini talab qilganda, taklif qilganda yoki buni muhim deb hisoblaganda ishlatiladigan shakl. U suggest, recommend, insist, demand, propose, request feʼllaridan, essential, vital, important, necessary sifatlaridan va the suggestion / recommendation that kabi otlardan keyin keladi.

Tuzilishi oddiy: that soʻzidan keyin feʼlning lugʻatdagi shakli ishlatiladi va u hech oʻzgarmaydi — he, she, it bilan ham -s olmaydi, oʻtgan zamonda ham oʻzgarmaydi: The doctor recommended that she rest. It is vital that he be on time.

Inkor shakli — not + feʼl (do / does yordamchi feʼllarisiz): They insisted that he not be late. Majhul shakli — be + V3: The school requires that all phones be switched off.

Britaniya ingliz tilida koʻpincha should + feʼl ham ishlatiladi: I suggest that he should see a doctor. Ikkalasi ham toʻgʻri. Yana If I were you, I wish it were… iboralaridagi were ham subjunktivning qoldigʻidir.

Oʻzbek tili bilan farqi

Oʻzbek tilida bunday gaplarda feʼl -sin yoki -ishi kerak / muhim shaklida boʻladi: «Shifokor u bir hafta dam olsin, dedi», «Hamma oʻz vaqtida kelishi muhim». Ingliz tilida esa shu maʼno uchun feʼlning oddiy lugʻat shakli ishlatiladi va u shaxsga qarab oʻzgarmaydi: that she rest, that he be. Oʻzbek oʻquvchilar odatdagidek he / she bilan -s qoʻshib yuborishadi yoki «-ishingizni taklif qilaman» iborasini «I suggest you to…» deb tarjima qilishadi.

Для официальных предложений, требований и важности: suggest / insist / it is essential that + глагол.

Она стоит после глаголов suggest, recommend, insist, demand, propose, request, прилагательных essential, vital, important, necessary и существительных the suggestion / recommendation that.

Строится просто: после that идёт глагол в словарной форме, и он не меняется — нет -s с he, she, it, нет прошедшего времени: The doctor recommended that she rest. It is vital that he be on time.

Отрицание — not + глагол (без do / does): They insisted that he not be late. Пассив — be + V3: The school requires that all phones be switched off.

I suggest that he should see a doctor. Кроме того, were в If I were you, I wish it were…

Из-за этого русскоязычные ставят в английском прошедшее время (insisted that she rested) или would. В английском же нужен глагол в словарной форме для всех лиц: that she rest, that everyone be. Ещё одна калька: «предлагаю тебе пойти» → «I suggest you to go» — это ошибка.
